Stuart Kimmel D.D.S. is a native of Miami, Florida and graduated from the University of Miami before attending Temple Dental School. He completed a one-year residency at Mount Sinai hospital in Miami. After practicing General Dentistry for several years, Dr. Kimmel decided to specialize in orthodontics and went to the University of Pennsylvania for two additional years of orthodontic training. His education is ongoing as he attends numerous education courses yearly. This allows him to utilize the most advanced technology and techniques in the treatment of his patients.

Dr. Kimmel enjoys power walking, SCUBA diving, sailing, biking, hiking, mountain climbing, traveling and yoga. A few years ago he satisfied a long-time goal when he climbed Mt. Rainier in Washington State.
Dr. Kimmel is also an adventurous and optimistic cook. “I can concoct anything; all you need is a willingness to take risks in the kitchen - and be prepared to toss it out”, he laughs.
Dr.Kimmel has two sons, one a published author and artist, and the other an attorney in New York City.
Professional organizations Dr. Kimmel belongs to are: The American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, The Florida Dental Association, and the Jacksonville Dental Society.
